Tamara Belinfanti is a Jamaican-born author based in New York, whose writing explores themes of identity, belonging, and transition.

Her work has been featured in Vogue, The New York Times, The New Yorker, The BBC, Barron’s, and PREE, a magazine of contemporary Caribbean writing. A graduate of Harvard Law School, she is a professor of law at New York Law School.

Tamara is currently at work on two book-length manuscripts; one about childhood in Jamaica and another which is best described as Alice in Wonderland in Brooklyn.
